Description
The session will consist of presentations and interactive parts to respond to questions from the audience. This session is the first in a series of language specific information sessions on CBAM.
The online seminar will be recorded. The recording will be published afterwards on the Customs & Tax EU Learning Portal so that participants and non-participants can watch it later.
Expected outcomes
The seminar will allow stakeholders to gain a better understanding of the operational aspects of the CBAM transitional registry as to comply with the CBAM regulation, stressing requirements and answering questions on specific CBAM sector issues.

- Presentation by Policy Officer DG TAXUD
- Q&A session

Importers, trade actors, industry associations, chambers of commerce, companies and businesses operating with CBAM goods.
Technical requirements
- The online seminar will take place online on the “Webex” platform.
- It is mandatory to register before the event
- Participants will be able to enter the online seminar waiting room 15 minutes before.
- During the CBAM online seminar, all participants will be muted.
- Participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions.
- Questions will be answered during the last part of the online seminar.
- Participants consent to be recorded during the online seminar. The recording will be made public following the session. The online seminar session will be recorded for training purposes. Attendees themselves may not record the online seminar session.
