Since June 2022, he is State Secretary for Finance at the Spanish Ministry of Finance, and President of the Spanish Tax Agency. Before that, he was General Director of the Tax Agency, and General Director of Taxation.
In the academic field, he has an important career at international level, as he has carried out audits and participated in several meetings and seminars in Latin America, the European Union and the OECD, while publishing and giving lectures on tax administration, policy, law and procedures, for different public and private organizations.
