RSSThe Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism successfully entered into force on 1 January 2026, following a coordinated deployment across all EU Member States.
Council Regulation 2025/2614 (quotas) and Council Regulation 2025/2605 (suspensions) were published in EU Official Journal respectively on the 22nd and 30th of December 2025.
