The Economic Operator has to be registered in MS IAM that federates UUM&DS. Depending on the type of the authenticating Member State, the process that should be followed is described in the UUM&DS Economic Operators Manual.

The UUM&DS system can also be used by Economic Operators for managing the authorisation assignments (delegations) to their delegated users such as:

  • First level of delegation: customs representatives for the economic operators (CR) or employees of the economic operators (EMPL),
  • Second level of delegation: employee of a customs representative for an economic operator

The Member States have a central or local delegation service as presented in the table below:
