Evelyn Regner is a Member of the European Parliament since 2009 and Vice-President of this House since January 2022. As a lawyer, feminist and trade unionist, her political work concentrates on tax justice, gender equality and a social Europe. These priorities are also mirrored in her daily work in the European Parliaments Committees. Such as the Committees on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON), the Committee on Fiscal Affairs (FISC), the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) and the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL).
Tax justice is of a particular significance to Ms Regner, as taxes contribute essentially to the way we want to shape and live in our society. Each and every one of us must pay a fair share for a just society.
