April 26th is World Intellectual Property Day

World Intellectual Property Day (April 26th) has been established to put the spotlight on the importance of Intellectual Property Rights such as patents, trademarks, industrial designs and copyright.

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) ensure that creative and inventive efforts are rewarded and that investments in new and more efficient products are encouraged. They greatly stimulate the creation of jobs in today's knowledge-based economy.
