Content of the course

This course explains more on drug precursors: what they are, and how their illegal trade can be prevented to protect society.

It aims to help the chemical industry and other relevant businesses recognise the risk of illicit trade in drug precursors and train their staff in preventing their diversion.

Who is this course for?

Customs officers of national authorities and businesses producing the concerned products.

How was the course developed?

The course was developed by the European Commission in close collaboration with trusted companies from the chemical sector and authorities in the Member States under the “Customs 2020” Programme.

How to obtain the course?

Interested trainees are requested to contact their Drug Precursors competent authorities.
