Arun is Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Taxation (CenTax) and an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Warwick. He studies issues of migration, inequality, tax compliance, and tax design, focusing particularly on those with high incomes or wealth. He is also co-chair of the Discover Economics campaign, aiming to increase the diversity of people who study and work in economics.
