Michael Roekaerts works for the Belgian Federal Public Service Finance, where he heads the International Relations team of the General Administration for Collection and Recovery. He is working on strengthening tax collection and recovery at national and cross-border level, and actively participates in various EU and international networks, working groups and projects in this area. Michael is a trained TADAT assessor, and has experience in capacity-building activities in both EU Member States and developing countries.
