Marta Gallucci

Dr. Marta Gallucci is a statistician and economist specializing in tax gap estimation, non-compliance analysis, and applied statistical methods. She serves as the lead expert on direct taxes gap measurement at the Italian Revenue Agency, where she contributes to the production of the official estimates of corporate and personal income tax gaps in Italy. Her work focuses on identifying the drivers of non-compliance, including the evaluation of policy interventions such as compliance letters. She also participates to international expert groups and working parties on tax gap analysis, including initiatives under the European Commission and the OECD. Dr. Gallucci holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Pisa and a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Florence.
