Report on the impacts and benefits of the EU-Morocco agreement extending tariff preferences to products originating in Western Sahara

In its non-legislative resolution of 28 January 2019, the European Parliament called on the Commission and the European External Action Service to keep the European Parliament regularly informed on the implementation and effects of the Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco of 25 October 2018. This agreement concerns the preferential tariff treatment of products originating in Western Sahara. Every year since 2020, the Commission and the EEAS have analysed the effects and benefits for the people of Western Sahara of extending these tariff preferences to products originating in Western Sahara.
